Ecopath with Ecosim version 5.1

This version runs on Windows 2000, XP, and on Windows 7 in 32-bit compatibility mode. This version may run on Windows 8, but you may need to wear a helmet.

Main new Features include connectivity to a map server at UBC for downloading Ecospace basemaps at a half-degree fixed grid. Handling of multistanza groups have been improved. Numerous bugs have been fixed.
Please ensure to back up your database prior to installing this version. Uninstalling EwE will delete your database folder. You should uninstall the all previous versions of EwE.

Ecopath with Ecosim version 5.0

Version 5.0 works with all Windows versions from Windows 98 to XP. This version will not work with Windows 3 and may not install on Windows 95. We have not tried this version on Windows Vista or newer, you are on your own there.

Note that references are not working properly in this version. We suggest that you do not use the reference capability, we are working to add a facility that will use the BibIX format (as used by, e.g., EndNote). Unzip after download and run the setup exe file.

Ecopath with Ecosim version 4.0

This version is compatible with Windows versions from Windows 95 to Windows 2000. This release has not officially been tested with Windows XP. Unzip after download and run Setup.exe.

Ecopath version 3.1

This is the only Windows version of Ecopath that can run under Windows 3.1. It does not include the Ecosim and Ecospace modules.
