| Abstract | A brief review of knowledge on macrobenthos distribution in the Strait of Georgia is presented, with emphasis on depth and substrate type. Inferences are drawn on past biomass based on inferred past consumption by humans and the catches they imply. The resulting biomasses and related parameters are proposed as inputs to an Ecopath model of the Strait of Georgia one hundred years ago. |
